SUSPENSION INFORMATION PACK

  • Thank you for registering for our suspension event! Our events focus on facilitating safe suspensions for all attendees in a relaxed environment.

Our events are strictly drug- and alcohol-free. Attendance is restricted to individuals 18 years of age and older.

  • To ensure a positive experience, we strongly recommend that you are well-hydrated, properly nourished, and rested prior to your suspension. These factors can significantly impact your experience, as feelings of hunger, fatigue, or being rundown may lead to undesirable side effects.

  • We highly encourage bringing music with you for your suspension, as it can enhance your experience and create a more enjoyable atmosphere. Additionally, we ask that you bring a trusted support person. Having someone you know and rely on can be immensely beneficial during the process.

  • Closer to the event, you will receive a Google invitation containing your scheduled suspension time. Please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your designated time so we can begin promptly.

Should you have a specific time preference, please inform us in advance to accommodate your request.

This same Google invitation will also include details of the location.

  • We recommend that you bring a spare set of clothing. In some cases, excessive bleeding or bleeding through bandages may occur, and having additional clothing available can be beneficial.

We will also provide spare sterile bandages for redressing your wounds on the day following your suspension.

  • A digital participation pack will be sent to you the week before and must be filled in prior to your suspension. This contains a consent form, medical screening, media consent and information on our privacy policy.

  • For your convenience, we have provided a link to our participant document package, which contains important information regarding your suspension. Please read these documents thoroughly before your scheduled suspension

  • It is important to note that Immersive Environments is a PCBU (person conducting a business or undertaking)

We are bound by strict adherence to our Health & Safety documentation to comply with the HSWA 2015 (Health & Safety at Work Act).

Help us help you by behaving responsibly.

  • We will provide hooks and shackles for your suspension. Please note that the hooks have been used previously, and have been reprocessed and sterilised, ready for use.

If you have concerns about using previously utilised hooks, please get in touch with us.

  • As a general rule, we request that no photographs include venue logos and that they not be tagged in any social media posts.

Additionally, out of respect everyone involved, please refrain from taking photographs of any other attendees or participants unless their explicit consent is obtained on the day.
